2017 Event Time Schedule 

Featuring Oliver, Cockshutt, Hart-Parr

Gates Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday at 6:30 a.m.

Thursday Eve.- 6 pm-  Steam operator's safety meeting at Steam Shed

Friday (Tentative Times)
     6:30 am - Gates open  - $10 daily for adults including children age 12 & up   (*Single Season Pass $15)
                       Breakfast available until 10 am
     8:00 am - Buildings, Exhibits, Crafters, Flea Market open with free rides on people wagons around the grounds.

       9:00 am - Mandatory safety meeting at Ag Museum Bldg. for all drivers of tractors, steam engines,
                     & similar vehicles
(Includes all drivers daily parades) All drivers are required to have a safety ribbon displayed.
     9:00 am - Railroad - Free rides until the steam runs out about 5 pm.
    10:00 am - Noon - Lumber Sawing and Reperbane (ropewalk)
    10:00 am - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
    10:30 am - Wood Shingle Making
    11:00 am - Lunch available until 2 pm (come early!)
  12:00 noon - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
     1:30 pm - Parade of Giants
      2:00 pm - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
      2:30 pm - 4:30 pm - Lumber Sawing and Reperbane (ropewalk)
      2:30 pm - Wood Shingle Making, Threshing, Plowing
      4:00 pm - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
      4:00 pm - Supper available until 6:30 pm or food is gone!
      5:30 pm. - Exhibits and Buildings close
      7:00 pm -  The Explosive Rockats, 60's music.
        - A free will donation will be accepted at the doors.

Saturday (Tentative Times)

      3:00 pm - Stock Antique Tractor Pull    
      3:15 pm - Style Show at the Ag Museum Bulding     
      4:00 pm - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
      4:00 pm - Supper available until 6:30 pm
      5:30 pm. - Exhibits and Buildings close

      7:00 pm -  Silverado, Country Western music
   in the Ag Museum Building   

Tickets can be purchased in advanced at Coopers Office Supply, 102 E Lincoln Avenue, Fergus Falls, or by calling 218.589.7036, or at the LRPTA Headquarters Building the weekend of the Annual Show.  You may also send a good, personal check and a self addressed stamped envelope mailed to Linda Van Horn, 14096 Co Hwy 82, Dalton, MN 56324, 612.619.6967 and postmarked prior to August 27, 2017.  Tickets are $11 each, in advance.  Cost for tickets at the door will be $15 and are subject to availability.  

Sunday (Tentative Times)

   9:00 a.m. - Community Church Service in the Ag Museum Bldg.

    10:00 am - Buildings, Exhibits, Crafters, Flea Market open with free rides on people wagons around the grounds.

    10:00 am - Railroad - Free rides continuing until the steam runs out about 4 pm.
    10:00 am - Kids Tractor Pedal-Pull (and registration) "Rain or Shine" on the log cabin street sidewalk
                           If raining it will be in the nearby Behlin Building.
    10:00 am - Noon - Lumber Sawing and Reperbane (ropewalk)   
    10:00 am - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
    10:30 am - Wood Shingle Making, Threshing, Plowing
    11:00 am - Lunch available until 2 pm (Come early!)
    11:00 am - 2:00 pm  Weigh In and Registration for the Tractor Pull
    12:00 noon - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
       1:00 pm - Parade of Giants
                     Members Only tractor pull to follow Parade of Giants parade
      2:00 pm - Stock Antique Tractor Pull
      2:00 pm - Lumber Planing on 4-sided planer(1/2 hour)
      2:30 pm - 4:30 pm - Lumber Sawing and Reperbane (ropewalk)

      4:00 pm - Drawing for raffle tractor (winner need not be present to win)

* Yearly memberships can be purchased in advance (must be a month prior to the show to get your own personalized badge) for $15 per person, which provides each member with voting rights at the Annual Meeting held in October, and gate entrance each day during the show. Memberships at $15 can be purchased at the Headquarters Building  during the show or at the Annual Meeting.  Daily show fee, $10 .
